Jewelry Care Guide
Fine jewelry is meant to be worn. A few simple habits before, during, and after wear will help keep your FRY POWERS pieces looking their best.
For anything beyond basic care, repairs, restringing, replating, refinishing, and assessments are handled through our Repairs & Services page.

Enamel
Our enamel is glossy and saturated by design. Wipe it clean with a soft, dry cloth after wearing, keep it away from perfume, lotion, and hairspray, and let it dry fully before storing. Skip ultrasonic cleaners; enamel and vibration are not a good match.

Sterling Silver
Sterling silver naturally develops a soft patina over time. A light polish with a silver cloth brings back the shine. Store it in a dry place, ideally in its pouch, and remove it before swimming, showering, or applying lotion and perfume.

Gemstones
Harder stones, like diamond and sapphire, can handle a gentle soap-and-water clean with a soft brush. Softer stones, like opal or emerald, prefer a dry cloth only and should be kept away from ultrasonic cleaners and harsh chemicals.

14K / 18K Gold
Solid gold will not tarnish the way plated pieces can, but it still responds to chlorine, saltwater, and daily friction. Take rings and huggies off before swimming, showering, or working out, and store each piece separately to help prevent scratches.

Pearls
Pearls are organic and softer than most metals or stones, so they need the gentlest routine. Wipe with a soft, dry cloth after wearing, put them on after perfume and makeup, and store them flat and separately to protect their surface.

Home + Objects
Trays, lighters, and other FRY POWERS objects are finished by hand and best kept away from direct sun and abrasive cleaners. A soft, dry cloth is usually enough to keep them looking as intended.

Common questions
A quick wipe after each wear is usually enough. For pieces that need more attention, use mild soap and water where appropriate, or a polishing cloth for sterling silver.
We recommend taking pieces off first, especially anything with enamel, pearls, or softer gemstones. Chlorine, saltwater, steam, and repeated friction are some of the most common causes of unnecessary wear.
If something feels loose, tarnished beyond a home polish, or physically damaged, please start with our Repairs & Services page. Our team can review the piece and guide you through the right next step.
